PROJECT OVERVIEW

This new Founder came to us with a refreshingly simple problem he wanted to solve. Conservatives have a hard time dating on mainstream dating apps, and finding potential partners with similar values. Regardless of your politics, this was an easy one for us to get behind. We envisioned a solution that this underserved target audience would easily adopt and love.

In terms of product strategy, we wanted to create something that felt familiar but also had unique UI/UX. However, we never lost sight of the fact that the most compelling value-proposition of The Right Stuff wasn't any one feature - it was the brand's positioning as "conservatives-only".

Early on, we consulted The Right Stuff on a comprehensive pre-marketing, beta, and post-launch marketing funnel strategy that would create hype and build its waitlist of users. After many creative iterations and archetype exercises, we also determined that a more humorous poke at the current dating landscape would be a memorable way to communicate the value and differences of The Right Stuff. 

The Founder was also committed to posting regularly on social media and becoming the face of the company, which was a great complimentary strategy for distribution. The Founder has since kept with the same archetype, and has amassed over 3M followers on TikTok/Instagram since working with Naked Development.

Once we officially hit launch in September 2022, the stage was set for massive growth. The Right Stuff became the world's #1 fastest growing dating app and earned 40,000 new users in it's first month alone.

The Right Stuff then leveraged its momentum to raise additional funding, securing $1.5M Seed from none other than Facebook investor, Peter Thiel.

Safe to say, the future is looking alright for The Right Stuff.
