PROJECT OVERVIEW

DishOut is a fintech app that was founded by restaurant professionals. These clients came to Naked to solve a nagging problem they have dealt with for years––is there a better way to split, share and distribute tips to restaurant staff? It was a challenge that got us excited too.

We helped them uncover viable solutions, and then we built DishOut from the ground up. Fintech is a uniquely challenging space that requires sophisticated architecture, database security, API integrations, and strategic banking relationships in order to execute. Also, when you're handling people's money, you need a UI/UX that creates that instant feeling of trust.

Building their web and mobile apps were just the first hurdles though. We knew for DishOut to have go-to-market success, they would need a strategic B2B selling motion to acquire customers. We created their App Demo Video, download funnel, and sales strategy so that potential users were educated and excited to try this new solution.

Now with over 200 B2B customers and $11M in monthly transaction volume in less than one year after launch, DishOut has been a standout success. However with huge growth, comes big challenges. We continue to partner with DishOut to iterate on the user experience using user data and customer feedback. Keep an eye on this future unicorn.
